racing video game
how can i make an easy to do racing video game?

i would like to make a free video game of racing. i would like it to have decent graphics & features. it has to be somthing that i can download off the internet. if you can tell me, that would be great. if you can't find anything of racing, just an adventure game would do. & again, i want it easy.

Making a video game is not that easy. It requires extensive knowledge of programming languages. You will need years of college classes in C++ or another language to create a full video game.

What game console would best suit me?

Not a portable one

I like those Action, Adventure 3d types of games (Like Mario and stuff)
I'm not really a big fan of the Wii because i don't really like the idea of the controller, but...i dunno

Any ideas?
Also if you can, could you list games of what that console has (that I might like)

By the way I'll most likely be playing by myself and I'd like one that makes new games (so nothing like nintendo 64, gamecube etc.)

You mention that you don't like the idea of getting a Wii because of the controllers, but many games can actually be played with a gamecube controller instead.

If that's not good enough, then it comes down to other things with the whole 360/ps3 debate. personally, I have all 3 because they're all good, but there are differences.

First, if you're planning on watching blue-ray movies or you like the free online access, go for the ps3. If you prefer better internet gameplay and a better achievement system (ps3 has one too, but it's not that great), get the 360.

Some people claim that ps3 or 360 has better graphics than the other, but the difference is minuscule, you'd only notice it if you have an excellent tv (a.k.a. something in the 120 hz.) or you're just completely anal about graphics.

They also share a lot of the same games, but the ps3 has many unique games that focus on oddities and it's unique controller sixaxis thing. the 360 has many unique developers that only make games for the 360. also, many games come out on the 360 before the ps3.

many ps3 fanboys will say that the xbox has a bad rating for stability, and that's mostly true. several months ago microsoft released a new version with the jasper chipset. most 360s before that were the falcon chipset, and before that was a chipset I don't know the name of, but even worse. the falcon chipset would often overheat, and it's soder would come loose because it wasn't properly made. if you make sure to find a jasper chipset, you'll be fine. most never arcade versions have the jasper chipset. avoid the pro or elite bundles, they make them cheap because they are clearing the older chipsets.

many 360 fanboys will say that the ps3 is too expensive, but if you're willing to buy either, it's a non-issue.

Personnally, on what you've said, I suggest you get a 360 and go buy fable 2, mass effect, and fallout 3.

Will this be enough to get a XBOX 360?

I'm wondering if this will be enough to get a used or possibly new Xbox 360 at gamestop.

1. Nintendo Wii with all cords and Wii-mote with nunchuk
2. Old PS2 with cords and 2 controllers
3. Destroy all Humans 2 for PS2
4.Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn for WII
5. Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition for PC.
the only reason i am going to gamestop is becuase gamecrazy shut down. i do not have a gamestop membership, is this going to be a problem if i wish to get special trade in deal?

That one above is not available online, but below is one for $159.99 that is available online. Neither of these consoles come with a hard drive, but you can take a USB flash drive and use that as long as you won't be downloading alot.

I would estimate the 3 games to be worth about $10.00 to $15.00 each, the PS2 to be about $40.00, and the Wii to be about $50.00, so that equals about $120.00-$145.00, so your in good shape as long as you have a few extra dollars to spend. You can always go to gamestop with everything and tell them you want to trade it in for a 360, and if its not a high enough price you can always cancel it. Sometimes they have specials, such as getting extra credit towards a console purchase.
