Final Fantasy III (nintendo DS) tips?
I got bored and picked up my brother's nintendo DS to play with over the holidays and I'm suddenly obsessed with Final Fantasy III, only I SUCK at it and keep dying which is really frustrating because there are so few opportunities to save. I don't want to use a walkthrough, but I could use some suggestions as to how to approach the game. I've figured out how to revive people, how to better equip my characters, how to build up some experience, etc. but whenever I go to the sealed cave, I die. Help!
Best to work on building up experience, and try out different Jobs.
See which ones work best for you. Work on getting some balance between a healer, fighter, summon magic, and utility type fighter.
Level up on weaker enemies, or enemies you have little difficulty beating. Once you get higher in levels, then move up to another area. Some parts of this game are really tricky, and using a FAQ might help for finding hidden weapons, but you should play it however you like to play it.
Stay close to a town, or an Airship.
One trick I always did to level up my jobs, I would have all of my characters defend, except for whichever one was slowest. Then, I would have just that one character fight. Might take a few rounds in a battle. If I got hit hard, I would use a healer to fix up the damage.
