Solution Selling – Solve A Problem For A Customer
Why do people visit your blog post or article? There are 2 reasons:
Your reader wants entertainment; and
Your reader has a problem they want to know more about.
Entertainers
First we have the entertainment crowd. These are the visitors who come to your site for a light read . They might have a real interest in your topic or they might have seen the link on a social site such as Stumbleupon. Regardless, they are there to be for their own enjoyment and perhaps learn something new in the process. These are readers who will not convert to paying customers today, but may do so in the longer term future.
Problems Solvers
The next class of visitor we are interested in is the problem solver. Their primary motivation for visiting your site is to solve a problem or research an issue about a topic or product. These are your cash cow visitors, i.e. traffic that has the potential to become buyers in the short to medium term.
Selling To Your Problem Solvers
Problem solvers who visit your website do not come to buy, they are there to learn. If you use this opportunity to directly sell to your reader, they will continue their search on another site. There is an old marketing saying - people love to buy but hate being sold to. The purpose of your content is to pre-sell them by creating authority and desire for the outcome. Your goal should be to pick a problem that a typical user is experiencing and solve it. If the solution speaks to them about the outcome they want, then the reader will take action.
Pick A Problem And Solve It
How do you pick a problem your market experiences? If you have done your keyword research properly when you first established your site, you would have your main keyword phrase that you are targeting and a number of smaller niches that make up the categories. Pick a category and drill it down further. This is a micro-niche and is the subject of your problem.
As for the solution, what are the top 5 problems readers have with this micro-niche? Do some basic detective work and you have 5 article ideas. You don't have to be an expert here. Google the micro-niche phrase and see what are other authority sites are saying about the issue. Next, look up the item on Wikipedia and five of the top article directories.
You can also do some old style journalism for your solutions. Interview an expert on the subject. Sure, you will get turned down occasionally when you ask for an interview, but most people (and their ego) will jump at the chance to be seen as an authority in their profession. They get the chance to plug their business; you get an interview you can turn into articles or use as an upsell.
The Call To Action
A great pre-selling article needs a great call to action to close with. Otherwise, what's the point of writing the article in the first place? To start your close, ask yourself why you are writing the article? Generally, there are two reasons to create article content:
To create authority for a site and generate backlinks; or
To get visitors to click through to an offer page.
The call to action for the first article type is easy to spot as it is very generalized. This article is a good example. I am not trying to sell you a course or ebook. This article exists to build awareness of the website linked in the resources box.
Next, you have the call to action that links through to a money page. You want the reader to part with money or at the very least, opt in to your list. This call to action is far more aggressive. You might see phrases such as "Can you really get your partner back? Take our free 2 minute test to see if you can get your ex back.". You need to create the mind set of "this is the outcome I want, I can do what I just read and it seems so easy, but I need to know more". Just remember though, don't step over the line with fake blogs and testimonials. The FTC is starting to crack down on dodgy web advertising.

Video Game Reviews by Gamers
Being a gamer, it's nice to be able to surf the website and find alot of different gaming websites, because I'm sure many of us find that they do come in handy at some point or another, weather it's cheat codes or walkthroughs, I'm sure many of us have visited a gaming website sometime in the past few months. Another thing that is often found on gaming websites are video games reviews. I find that many of the reviews that come from these websites all the same. It actually almost seems like the same person writes the review.
Okay so I know what your thinking. All of these websites have gamers review the games, right? Well why not have a website of video games reviews where the reviews are written by gamers who absolutely love or hate the games? Having gamers who play these games completely through, in and out for a long time who can actually tell you every little thing that's wrong and right about each of these games at the drop of a hat? Sounds pretty nice right?
With many of the gaming websites available for gamers, the reviews are all pretty much the same. Personally when I look for game reviews, I'll check these websites for the scores they received out of 10 and then take a look at what the actual gamers are saying or ask my gaming friends what they think. I generally like to gives things a try, just to see, but if I get nothing but negative feedback well obviously I won't go near it. Who does?
Personally I think it would be cool to have a website that has video games reviews written by the actual gamers who love the game. To me, there's no other way to find out about a game then by somebody who loves to play it in their spare time for hours. I'm not the type of person who is really interested in reading a review by somebody who may or may not be a gamer, or by somebody who has only played the game through maybe once or twice. I'd rather read it from the true gamers, who are playing each and every day. Who knows better about the games then them?

Xbox 360 Repair Guides
The repair guides for the Xbox 360 are quiet popular and there are definitely some very good reasons for this particular state of affairs. The main reason that the Xbox 360 repair guides are so popular is because they empower the users of the Xbox 360 to repair their own console at prices that are much lower than what the Microsoft Company would charge. However, popularity doesn’t necessarily always mean quality. There are several repair guides for the Xbox 360 that are on the market and sadly there are some that are basically pure scam, because they are made specifically to make the users have to pay for a value that they are never going to get. So if you were put into a situation like this, how you know which one you would like to choose.
In all actuality, it is extremely hard to say. A purchase that is good is always a result of several different factors which includes the trust you have within the brand as well as your ability to check the quality, take into consideration the other recommendations made by the buyer, instinct and the user’s reviews. Most of the repair guides for the Xbox 360 don’t come with the feature of search inside, you are going to either have to trust your basic instinct or you are going to have to perform an online research in order to see exactly what type of literature you are able to located online, with the actual help of the search engine that are related to the book that you desire to purchase. Since the Xbox 360 is so popular, there is sure to be enough literature available out there on the Xbox 360 that you will be able to find all of the information.
When looking for Xbox user repair guides and the search engines don’t seem to be of any help, you can always take the time to visit the Xbox 360 forum and ask the other users. You should be careful though because there are many people out there that are answering your questions that are disguised as innocent users when in all actuality, they are trying to sell you the Xbox repair guide.
So how can you distinguish a scammer from an honest seller? Even though, it isn’t all that simple, all you have to do is the same exact things that you do when you purchase everything else. Take the time to check out the customer support and the seller, check to see if there is a refund policy and make absolutely sure that they have use all of the secure payment options. Purchasing an Xbox 360 user guide isn’t just the same as going into Wal-Mart purchasing something.
You have to make sure that the user guide for the Xbox 360 really exists and then you have to make sure that you are receiving the Xbox 360 user guide from a reliable source.
With the unveiling of the Xbox 360, there came a lot of commotion. The Xbox 360 was viewed as everyone’s dream machine and in all actuality, the Xbox 360 was. Even though there have been a couple of complaints along the way, the Xbox 360 has still proven to withstand the test of time.
Overall, you should purchase your Xbox 360 and get your Xbox 360 user guide and after that it is up to you to decide your fate within the world of gaming.

Spider Bite Treatment
Spiders generally do not attack humans and tend to bite only when they feel threatened. Most of the spiders are venomous as it aids them in hunting. Spider venom is very mild and weak and hence does not pose any major threat to humans. There are only a few big spiders which are able to get their venom to spread in the human body. Some simple home remedies can help prevent any spider bite infection. Spider bite treatment preliminarily depends on the type of spider which has bitten the person.
Spider Bite Identification
Determining the spider by looking at the spider bite is a little tough. It is therefore important to identify the type of spider on seeing it. A few known characteristics of commonly found spiders should help in the same:
Black Widow Spider
It is easy to identify a black widow spider as these spiders have a red color, hour glass shape mark on their bellies. A black widow spider bite feels like a pinprick and leads to swelling and red marks on the skin. Since this spider is poisonous, it shows symptoms all over the body. Chills, fever and nausea are some of the common symptoms.
Brown Recluse Spider
The brown recluse spider has a distinct, violin-shaped mark on the top of it's head. These spiders bite with a mild sting. The swelling is more severe and liquid blisters are also formed around the bite area. The poisonous nature of this spider also causes symptoms all over the body. Read more on brown recluse spider bites.
Hobo Spider
A hobo spider is brown in color and has a yellowish green mark on its belly. This spider is aggressive and can bite if provocated. Redness of the skin and numbness around the bite area is usually observed with a hobo spider bite.
Yellow Sack Spider
This spider is pale yellowish in color and therefore easy to recognize. A yellow sack spider bite causes swelling, itchiness and redness of the skin. There are chances that the wound becomes slightly neurotic or an ulcer is formed around the bite area as the venom of this spider is cytotoxic.
Wolf Spider
Wolf spiders are long, hairy and grayish brown in color. The peculiar aspect of a wolf spider bite is that it can tear the skin because of the large fangs it possesses. The skin around the bite area appears black, indicating dead tissues.
Since most of the spider bites appear the same from the outside, it is advisable to rush to a doctor immediately for proper diagnosis and treatment.
Spider Bite Symptoms
A spider bite can cause certain local reactions in and around the bite like:
Swelling
Itching
Redness
Pain
These local reactions are normal and caused by most of the bug bites. If this local reaction aggravates, it may show signs like:

Wheezing
Shortness of Breath
Weakness
Hives
Certain toxins present in spiders are known to cause discomfort all over the body. Thus, spider bite victims should go see a doctor right away if they experience any of the following:
Body aches
Leg or stomach cramps
Exhaustion
Chills
Sweating
Increase in pulse rate
Headache

Spider Bite Treatment
Not all spider bites are venomous. Most of them are non-poisonous but are bothersome. However, bites of the black window spider and the brown recluse spider are considered to be dangerous as they are poisonous spiders and tend to destroy body tissues. It is not always possible to look at the wound and determine which spider has bitten the victim. The only way people realize they have been bitten by a poisonous spider is when they experience symptoms all over the body, after the bite. The non-poisonous spiders show normal bug bite symptoms like- redness, itching, swelling and pain and can be treated easily. A few spider bite home remedies are listed below:Wash the place around the bite thoroughly with soap and water. This kills any bacteria present around the wound and prevents infection.
Keep the bite area moist for the first few hours. Compress the wound with an ice pack for about 20 minutes every hour, and for the remaining time keep a wet cloth over it.
If it is possible, elevate the bite location as it helps in bringing down swelling.
There are a few OTC medications like antihistamines and anti inflammatory drugs which help to reduce swelling. In case of severe pain, taking a pain killer will help.
After all this is done, it is important to visit a doctor. A doctor will be able to properly examine the spider bite and prescribe necessary medications. If it is a poisonous spider bite and the normal medications do not prove effective, antivenins are given to halt and counter the spread of poison in the body. Read more on how to get rid of spiders and spider bite: symptoms and treatment.
People should be careful when they are moving their hands around in dark, messy corners of the house or are working in the garden, as these are common places where spiders are found. Keeping the house clutter free, wearing full length clothes while gardening and checking shoes before wearing them are a few ways to prevent spider bites. Not everybody is Peter Parker and hence won't turn into Spiderman after the bite. Follow the spider bite treatment procedure properly to get cured from the bite.
How Do I Make Money Writing Articles For Others?
I'm a writer just getting into the whole online article for hire gig. Who is it Im looking for to write articles for. In other words whom do I ask and where do i go to ask them. Then once that is covered, how do I set up a deal and submit an article to them. Finally how does one collect payment? Also what are some rates that online writers charge, because Ive heard that once before. Answer what you can with enough detail please. As many points as possible to the best answer. Thanks.
Hi John,
I'm professional writer myself so I know exactly how you should start.
1. Create a simple website for your article writing business.
Explain how much you charge per article and for how many words.
eg. $20 for a 500 word article
2. Use Paypal for online payment. Integrate it on your website. PayPal has details on how to do this.
3. On your website, explain why your service is different to justify that you charge more than others. For example, your articles are researched thoroughly for the client and you will do search engine optimization for them if they are to place the articles on a website.
4. Go to several websites such as
http://www.Elance.com
http://www.Scriptlance.com
http://www.FreelanceWriting.com
to register your service and have a detailed profile.
5. Start bidding for jobs and with every job you complete, ask for a testimonial from the customers and place it on your website.
6. While you are building a good reputation and feedback with these websites, you can promote your website by search engine optimization, blogging, forum posting, squidoo lens, press releases and distributing your own articles.
It will take about 3 months to build a good reputation and charge higher prices.
After that, hopefully the majority of your clients will come from referrals and finding your website with the search engines.
If you're a newbie, I would charge $5 for a 500 word article to start with. This is very low, but you need the testimonials and get used to this business.
After that steadily increase your prices. I currently charge $36 for a 500 word article but it took me a while to get there.
Hope it helps.
