is there another installment of the Guilty Gear franchise after X2?
guilty gear is a great 2d fighting game that i think everyone needs to play if they haven't already. guilty gear x2 came out way back in 2002 for ps2 after the release of the original guilty gear and guilty gear x. ever since the release of x2, i don't think i've heard of another sequel. then again, it's not as if i've been following the developer's every decision, so its more than likely that a bunch of sequels came out under my radar.
my point is, x2's meager storyline ends in a cliff hanger which leads me to believe that there must be an x3 or gear 2 or 4 or whatever inconsequential number that they choose to assign to their franchise's next effort.
if you know that there is another guilty gear, hopefully on ps2, please tell me and receive your 10 points.
there is Overture and no, its on the 360. even then, its not a 2D fighting game. its more of, cature the base style game
